With JetPack Service, you can recycle and reuse your empty ink cartridge at the low cost of the inkjet recycling mailer. Just mail us your empty cartridge (restrictions below) in the postage-paid mailer and a full cartridge will be returned to you.

How does the Inkjet Cartridge Recycling Service work?    

It's simple! Purchase a postage-paid recycling mailer box at a low cost of $17.99 for Color, and $16.99 for Black cartridges. This service is only for Inkjet cartridges that have not been recycled before, not toner cartridges. When your inkjet cartridge runs out of ink, just place it in the box with the return address label filled out, and put it in the mail. Once received at the recycling facility, your cartridge will be professionally cleaned and refilled with the finest quality ink. The cartridge will then be tested, sealed in a protective bag, and shipped back to you within 48 hours.  Please allow 10-15 business days for the entire process to take place.

Note - The purchase of Recycling Mailers includes the cost of the mailer box, shipping to and from the recycling facility, and the ink refilled into your own cartridge. Empty cartridges are NOT included. Top

What cartridges can be recycled?

You can recycle your OEM Canon, Compaq, Dell, HP, Lexmark, Brother, and Xerox inkjet cartridges using our recycling service. Please keep in mind that only cartridges with permanent ink tanks may be recycled. Make sure to consult the list below to see if your cartridge is recyclable.Top

Note- Only OEM virgin empty cartridges (cartridges that have never been refilled) and cartridges which have only been refilled by JetPack may be mailed in for recycling. Top

What do I do if my cartridge has leaked when I receive it?

Changes in air pressure during shipping can cause small amounts of ink to leak from the cartridge into the protective bag that holds it. This does not harm the cartridge and it does not mean that the cartridge will leak in use. If this happens to you, just dampen a paper towel with water and clean the cartridge before placing it into your printer. Top

To prolong the life of the cartridge after you receive it back from JetPack keep it in the sealed bag until you are ready to use it. Keeping the cartridge in the bag will prevent exposure to air that will dry the ink in the cartridge. If you do remove it from the sealed bag before using, make sure to store it in a zip lock bag.  Top

What if my cartridge is deemed not serviceable because is does not pass the facility’s quality test?

Not all cartridges are serviceable. Unfortunately, all inkjet cartridges eventually wear out. Each cartridge is cleaned, filled and print tested. If a cartridge does not pass the print tests, you will not receive a recycled cartridge. You will, however, receive an empty mailer to recycle another cartridge at no charge.  The unserviceable cartridge will not be returned. Top

What warranty is provided on the recycled cartridge?

Each recycled cartridge is covered by a 9 month warranty from the date it is received. If during this time your cartridge develops any printing problems or stops working while during the warranty, contact 123inkjets.com right away, it should be immediately returned for testing and evaluation. If the cartridge cannot be fixed, you will receive an empty mailer to recycle another empty cartridge at no charge. PLEASE NOTE -  123inkjets.com does not provide any additional warranty to the recycling service, and will not replace any defective cartridge that has been recycled by the JetPack recycling service. Can recycling mailers be returned?

123inkjets.com does not accept recycled cartridges, opened mailers, used mailers, or certificates of return mailers for non-serviceable cartridges as returns. You may return unused, unopened mailers.  Top

Additional information and Terms for the JetPack Service:

(1) Remanufactured or compatible cartridges cannot be sent for recycling. Only OEM brand recently empty cartridges, and cartridges previously recycled by this service, can be used.

(2)Only virgin empty cartridges may be mailed in for recycling. You may not mail in a cartridge previously filled by anyone other than JetPack.
