Epson WorkForce 600 Printer Review

If you've ever spent any amount of time in the kitchen with someone who is skilled at the culinary arts, you'll learn one thing about kitchen gadgets: only purchase a kitchen gadget if it can do more than one thing. There are lots of gadgets that you can purchase which can do only one thing, but those that can do multiple things are definitely much more preferred than one that can do only one thing. The same holds true for printers. Most people feel that printers that do more than one thing, all-in-one printers, are much better than those that only do one thing. The Epson WorkForce 600 is an all-in-one wireless printer that can definitely do a lot of things.

What It Is

This printer is designed to be a great desktop model for homeowners but is also designed to help with small businesses as well. It features the ability to do five things, including printing, copying, scanning, faxing, photo printing, and it also connects to Wi-Fi. The price of the ink cartridge for this printer is fairly affordable, compared to the price of cartridges for many of similar types of printers, while the size is definitely manageable as well as having a great, sleek look to it.

The Good

There are many great things about this printer that you'll love. The Epson WorkForce 600 can draft speeds up to 38 pages per minute, which is perfect for someone who wants things to be printed quickly, and the ink cartridge for the black color is actually a high-capacity cartridge, which means that it will last much longer than your traditional black cartridge. And of course one of the best things about this printer is how easily it connects to the wireless connection in your house, making it a simple matter for anyone in the house to print something no matter where their computer is located.

The Bad

The biggest complaint about this printer is that the paper feed tends to work sporadically. One moment it seems to work perfectly, the next it seems to have all sorts of problems. If you're not comfortable with fixing paper jams, this might not be the printer for you.

The Verdict

The Epson WorkForce 600 is a high quality, professional level printer that is perfect for a small business owner or for someone who works out of their home. It is not, however, glitch-free.
