Printer Shopping? A Few Kodak Reviews That May Help
Kodak has been a popular name in the world of printing for the past decade, and today's models are demonstrative of what made this company great. Best known for their Easyshare technology, it's the ideal way to print quality documents and photos when you're on the go, as most individuals are today. While Kodak makes a number of really good models, here are just a few that you might want to consider if you're in the process of printer shopping.
5300 Easyshare All-In-One
This is a great choice if you want to be able to use your printer for a number of different tasks including photos and documents. What's more, though, is that since it's an all in one model, you get a scanner, too, and that's a must-have feature for many of today's families. It's rather large, though, so if space is your primary concern, you may need to move forward with a different choice. There is a paper tray dedicated just to photo paper, and it has easy to access USB ports. Moreover, the LDC screen is pretty big and offers a nice preview feature some of the others on the market just don't. It's also pretty easy to check your ink level with this particular model. Kodak has been known to create really high-end photo printers, and while this one measures up to that standard in terms of quality, the price tag is really manageable for those who are on a tight budget. The reviews suggest this can handle up to thirty-two pages a minute. It does have 6-ink printer heads, and it's compatible with remanufactured Kodak EasyShare 5300 ink cartridges, which could make it far easier on your pocketbook.
5500 Easyshare All In One
This model is a bit higher in price, but it's still very affordable. What's more, though, is that it includes some functions the other model just doesn't. That said, however, the Kodak EasyShare 5500 is still a fairly large choice. You get great quality photos, and those easy to access USB ports so many loved with the other model. The dedicated photo tray is back in this model too, but so is an automatic document feeder, which is a huge improvement if you have quite a bit of material to scan. If you own a home business, this is an excellent model, or if you just do more than your average printing, this is a great choice too.
Easyshare 500 Photo Printer
This is far more portable than the other two models, and the big LCD screen is a huge plus if you need to do some editing on the go. The interface is super easy to use, so loading your photos and printing them right away is absolutely no problem with this particular model. What's more, though, is that you can put a flash drive in the USB port area, so you have more functionality than you might with other models. Replacement ink for this is quite inexpensive too, so that's a big help if you want quality prints without the expensive price tag.
