Resurrecting an Idle Printer? Read this! At less than one quarter the price of an original cartridge, these are certainly an excellent value. My Epson Stylus Photo 1280 had been sitting for a number of YEARS (3, I think) with empty cartridges. After installing the T009 and T007 from 123Inkjets, I ran the utilities to clean and align the printheads. After multiple tries, I could not get a good print pattern. I decided to print a few things just to see what would happen. At first there was spotting and streaking and initially thought there was a problem with the remanufactured cartridges. But after multiple prints, I realized it was just that my printer was so caked with dust, that it was wicking out ink to places it didn't belong. After running a few different types of pages, I was very happy with the results. So, if this is your situation, it is very important to literally get the cobwebs out. Last note: the 1280 is very sensitive to how you set the paper type in the properties...keep that in mind also as you test your printer. October 7, 2012
Overall good product After a number of nozzle cleaning (which I didn't think should be necessary as I just replaced another cartridge) the ink worked well. August 16, 2012
product works well after multiple cleanings... When I inserted the cartridge into the printer, two of the nozzles would not dispense ink until I ran the "head clean" and "nozzle check" several times. Considering the cost of the OEM cartridges for this printer, the value is definitely a determining factor in purchasing these "refurbs", in spite of the multiple cleaning cycles. July 5, 2012

reliable alternative 123Inkjets' prices may not be the lowest on the market for remanufactured inks, but their products are way more dependable. I had tried some other merchants but the experience was very negative. These compatible inks will not have the same life as the OEMs but for everyday, non-critical printing they do fine. I keep my OEM for professional work only...(too expensive!) March 2, 2012
